Look like fun don't they.

We have seen base spec new Imprezas, but no WRXs yet. It will happen. Hatch only at this stage, sedan next year.

Hi Sclarke,
Why?

It's got a worse ramp-over angle than a D3. :)

Yup, they reakon those images might be the STI.

The new WRX is actually cheaper than the old one in the US, first time i've ever seen that!!!

I'd still have one B)

Hope Solberg and Atkinson can do better in these than the way they have been going (esp Solberg)

Here is hoping, the Subaru WRC team hasn't been doing the best, although on a report I saw a few weeks ago apparently they are getting some of the old cars gremlins sorted, and the new car won't have the same problems either. The WRC WRX does look fantastic though!

I think they are becoming a bit blander than the previous models. It could be a Corolla.

I'm sure the STi's will still go like stink. I had a 2002 (Bug Eye) STi which I loved to death. Wrote it off unfortunately, but what a fantastic car. Crass, but fantastic.

i agree it's got the back end of a focus and the front of a seat - i'd rather the mitsi anyday

I'm sorry, but it constantly amazes me that Subaru didn't wear out their ugly stick years ago. It appears they keep it in a ceremonial cabinet and break it out an thump all new models with it mercilessly just before design freeze :wasntme::wasntme:

Hi there

As a firey there always the funny ones which stick in your mind - WRX Vs House

We had one a few years ago, the WRX entered the house via the bay window - through the lounge room, bed room 1 & 2 then exiting through the laundry without even going through a door way.

Consiquently trashing the house and the driver of the car is still walking - awaiting his for his licence to be returned.

The owners of the house we not home as they were at the same party the driver of the WRX had just left 10 min prior.

Funny as hell - and thank god no one was home or injured, excessive speed & grog - nasty combination

Its funny - the cars are getting faster but the speed limit is still 110km/hr.
