Any recommendations for a cheap parts supplier for a few bits for a self build (Mobo, CPU, graphics, etc.)? Needs to carry the high end stuff, and mail order essential if not in Perth. :)

No recommendations, but I'm also interested and mail order is manditory for me.

Yep, bought from them. Also I found pcmaniacs very good (built my HTPC with bits from them) and pricepoint, both good prices and excellent delivery.

Hi
I buy a heap of stuff for my work.
I consistently get lowest prices from:

1. www.trinix.com.au
2. www.ple.com.au
3. www.wadata.com.au

in that order

All in Perth
I can't comment on retail prices as I/we normally spend about "a new commodore" each purchase.

Failing them try www.staticice.com.au

For the highest end of everything I'd mention ScorpTech (www.scorptech.com.au).

Although they are in Victoria so probably not worthwhile for the shipping costs to WA, I'd have to say check those sites that HangOver has recommended.

What about Incisor's business from where he runs this forum?

He does mail order and he's only a PM away.

As an aside, one of the fora of which I'm a member is run by a LR specialaist in the USA. They don't allow competitor's names to be advertised in posts on the open forum. If you want to mention a competitor to someone who is asking, it has to be by PM. That's not unreasonable, I feel.

Incisor hasn't done that but I wouldn't blame him if he did. In fact, he rarely ever pushes his business - we have to do it for him! :)

Didn't know Inc did component bits, but once I have a list, I shall ask.

I think if Inc sells this stuff that it's only fair

www.staticice.com.au, this site scans all the aussie pc shops in it's database and reports back to you with the cheapest prices it could find right through to the most expensive it could find, give it a shot it's where i find all my pc parts at the cheapest possible prices. (cause i'm a tightwad LOL) and seeing as you are in perth "nintek" they are one of the best stores for price around and they're right at your doorstep but unfortunately they don't have a shop (it's an online store) so you can't pickup however i think considering you are so close it would prolly be same day delivery, here's their number: Perth (08) 6363 5029. hope this is helpful.

cheers
