:cool: HI,information on camping on moreton island,??I am thinking of going over for 7 days over xmas.:banana:
what I,d like to now is, where is the best place to camp,for beach fishing..away from the xmas crowd (if thats possible)I,ll be taking every thing with me.......wont need to go to the shops.......just want to stay in one place,for the 7 days.......regards keith

Mate, X-Mas is VERY busy, however it is wonderful over there.
Up the top there is a place called "Yellow patch" which has some awesome fishing.

If I have to stay in QLD for chrissy I will be over there as well.......

The in laws own a place at Cowan Cowan & this is the views we get, love the island.

Moreton Island has new camping rules now. Go to the EPA web site and it will fill you in. You have to book where your campsite is going to be in advance. You used be able to go and just find one.

Any ware on Moreton is nice, love north point haven't been there for a while :D

my fave place is honeymoon bay. the deserts are good fun too i love looking for all the different coloured sand.
