yep, a massive loss to motorsport, he was a great man and an equally great driver.

According to the 6PM news here in NZ, crashed his helocopter and took his 5yo son and 2 others with him. What a tragedy!

Yep, bit of a shock that one... It was bad enough loosing Richie Burns a couple of years ago.

Took his son & 2x family friends too.

By a strange co-incidence, McRae's old boss also crashed his helicopter today (on his way back from the Grand Prix) but he managed to wak away from it.

He knew how dangerous the roads were so just fly everywhere and avoid the traffic.
