Diff centre

Both my diffs are whining on my 91 disco,so i'm thinking of pulling them out to fix them.Apart from bearings what other costs can i expect.Also may go with a locker or two:cool::cool:(possibly detriots or arb after reading other threads)and was wondering if i need to upgrade my axles as this will determine weather i wait awhile or do it soonish.Thanks in advance Brett

The whine could be bearings or crown and pinion.
Check its not a wheel bearing or uni joint..

Crown/pinion about 700
Bearings 25 to 30 each
ARB locker 1219 - 1571fitted
compressor175 +115 to fit..
Detroit centre 1150 + fitting

Some people run lockers on standard axle but most recommend HD axles
