What is an .msg

I have just received a file that ends in the letters .msg

Going by the size of the file I am assuming it’s a form of video but have no idea of how to open it on a mac.

Any suggestions :confused:

its an email message in .msg format

you should be able to open it with thunderbird or mail i would have thought...

Outlook will open a .MSG file.

Probably Outlook Express too, but no idea if this is part of the Mac base system like it is in XP.
