An old mate of mine is finally selling his county,his wife cannot get into it.Anyway as a trade in there giving him nothing really but how much are they worth?.85 model v8 on gas new heads and the box recoed 2months ago.Any idea's. Pat

I would have thought on gas at least $4-5k

recent chat on here would indicate 4-5k being on the money..

how good is the rest of it?

Mate, what colour is it?, do the doors/chassis have much corrosion?, in Vic?.......

Around 4-5k is probably about right - even with gas V8 is a dirty word these days. If a very good example it may be worth a couple of thousand more, particularly if it does not have factory air.

John, why are the non air fenders worth more? Wouldn't you just be able to take it out if you didn't want it?

BTW at the other end of the price scale. I payed $2000 for the green 110 V8 I currently have. It was a second owner in very good unmolested condition.

The one I removed the vents from cost me $3400. It was molested and who knows how many owners etc.

No vents, and the factory air not only is not very effective, but has a lot of vacuum operated gadgets that tend to play up and involve a lot of labour to fix.
