i took these photos ages ago when i worked for a paintball field at ipswich, the landies have definately died but still serving a good use of being bunkers for players to hide behind

Very few landies truly die...there are lots of useable bits on those 2 still :D
i was thinking the same - lots of straight panels!
check out the vents (and bullet holes) in the door of the series 2 in the second photo

Did someone get the chassis number from the first pic - I am sure that the REMLR guys would want to know about an E-MLR - it looks to be very restorable!:D:D:D

hahaha its gone that colour from years of people hiding behind it and people shooting at them and hitting the landie, on the back of the landy in the first pic it had a really old land rover badge that was hardly visual due to the paint build up on it, one day i "salvaged" the badge and tidied it up and its now on my book shelf.
the bullet holes in the second one would be from simunition rounds, the soft skin of the vehicle would allow them to penetrate the landy.
and they were pretty much dead or close to it cos all the usable bits were put on the short wheel base landy the field used to get around the field and pull the trailer with all the maintenance gear.......only problem was you had to find a nice tree to put it into to help you stop.
here is another pic

They both look ok to restore by the photo, I dont like seeing any old Landy without a home or a part for that matter, if I had room for more I would definately take more on even if just to give them a home
