Going to Condamine Gorge tomorrow - anyone else?

G'day all,

Last minute decision - gonna go for a trip out to Condamine Gorge tomorrow (Sunday 30/09/2007).

Anyone wanna tag along?

I've never been there before but found this website with some useful directions:

Hopefully it's stil up-to-date and the river isn't flowing too strongly.

Thanks Wazza I had read that thread already when doing some quick research on where it is and how to get there :)

I'll be heading out by myself (wife wants to stay home and study) so I'll also have a spare passenger seat in the vehicle if anyone is interested.... :cool:

We went down there a few months ago. We followed the "Dirty Weekends" trip. It's an easy drive. Our kids had never done a river (deep creek really) crossing and loved it. They were dissappointed when we got to #14.

Gday Grizzly,tis in my back yard so to speak but have to be down the coast tomorrow,went for a run thru there a few weeks back(24 august ) and the creeks were flowing well then ,probably slowed a bit by now but should be at least a little water flowing,best is to go via boonah thru to the head road down the condo gorge road head left back up to queen mary falls then back thru killarney via either warwick or other small townships to meet the cunningham hwy at maryvale then back to brisvegas

ARHHH - just got back to this thread - a spare seat in the Grizzly 110FUN and I missed it.

Oh well - I'll live - thats right, Pedro - only 3 more weeks of being LR less. I swear the past 10 months have sent me completely loopy, so I hereby publicly apologise for my state of mind - I do however blame LR for this induced madness as they advertised the new Defender 10 months early!

BTW - I'm planning my maiden trip on October 20 along the very same track - we'll stay at the Pub in Killarney Sat night. Can't wait.

I dunno when you pick her up but there's a LROC Brisbane trip planned for that area the weekend before (13/14) if you're interested... :)

I'm not 100% on this but likely to get Grover around October 19 - hence the 20th as her maiden trip to Killarney. I'd love to have come along on the trip... But alas...Only 3 more weeks, 3 more weeks...
