Picked up the CDL kit today for the Disco, cost me a whole $125. Now I just have to figure out how to bloody fit it :(

Yours is the actual diff lock mechanism in the transfer case and a way to use it...
or at least I'd hope so..:eek::eek:

Mine isn't actually a cable, it seems to be a coup[le of levers that run from the high/low lever back to the transfer case...............

Anyone have a picture of how it's supposed to go in??? Disco series 1 have an exploded view possibly???

This pic shows the early rangie version. Later linkages change in how they are manufactured (presumably to reduce cost - not improved), but principle and arrangement the same.
With an R380 the pivot for the lever, is a post that screws into the side of the gearbox case. I have removed the LT230 from my R380, If you want I can take a photo of the post - the lever is out with the LT230.
