Series Disc brakes

I remember reading about this conversion, anyone tried or done it? my brakes are not boosted in my Series3 so I will most likely have to fit a remote booster, is it worth the hassle?

Hi Andy
Get some Stage1/Original 6/Station wagon (3" wide instead of 2 1/4" wide)front drums and the split front rear boosted master cylinder.
Much cheaper and alot more stopping power than standard.
Direct swap,but you need the 3" backing plates.
