Hey all :) wasnt sure were to post this anywho here goes :) many of you might know this but had to share :),an old fella/good friend showed me this, with a gas/kero/absorption refrigerator there is a piece of spiral metal that sits in the generator boiler wich helps draw air creating the cooling,if you replace the standard piece of spiral metal with one that is the full length of the generator boiler it improves it ten fold.Have been using it like this for about 3 years now on a 110 litre fridge, with the fridge set at its lowest point we have ice cold beer :) its one of the best things ive seen very impressed,it saves around 60% of gas usage.
