Nothing Andy , to the cover..The Serp belt went bang and shredded the fan pulley off of the adapter boss....
all the bolt holes on the boss are gone, Landrover do not make OME bearing and boss for replacement , you have to buy a whole new timing case cover ($465).
I know you can get the bearing from British4wd for $115 and press it into the existing case cover but I have heard horror stories that being an after market item they vibrate loose and send the fan through the radiator. Even if I traveled down that path I would still need a new adapter boss..
So until one is available (next friday) I have to wait...
It has given me time to do a heap of niggling maintence issues Like the winch service, some wire relocation and lighting upgrade..
Enjoy your day Saturday.. should be great weather for it.

great day out today with 3 cars coming along. bit drier than normal but it gave us the oppurtunity to try all the harder tracks that are sometimes impassible in the wet and learn some new techniques as well as find some new bit's of track that we never realised were there. at the end of the day we went and done some investigation into another track which will had previously seen from the road, had a quick look and it seems to be a good one to look into in the future
and as always a few pictures sorry andy tried to do it the way you explained but this is the only way that worked. nothing to do with the beers obviously

Excellent day at Powerlines, completely different in the dry with grip!! Myself and Billy, Jason and Claire and Will tried some different tracks and also a new trail that could be worth checking out for the future.
