Well this time, we're coming!
Been trying to make the time for the last 4 years and now... 1st March 08 and we are THERE!
Hoping to wet a line for a catch in both salt and freshwater, but really keen to have a go with my fly rod.
At this stage, there will be my wife and I with our camper and one other couple with theirs (both campers are off roaders).
We'd be very happy to hook up with some locals for at least part of our 3 week trip.

Wardy1,

Not a fishing officianado yet, but when you are ready, we have a 3 track big day out around Hobart planned for mainland AULRO visitors, ranging from moderate to hard.(Depending on weather of course, wet or snow they will all be hard to difficult)

(03) 6229 1102 for more info.

Thanks to both of you so far, Bblaze, could I have a little more detail on the lakes, and hey, whats this plan for the mainlanders???
Hope I'll be there for it. I do know some "non landy" types who'll be there late Feb early Marrch who will be more than willing to play 'HARD'.
Looking forward to getting amongst it
