Hi All

I have an 81' RRC where the seat belt is inside the seat.

Would anyone know if anything from other vehicles will fit?

They seem to be hard to get used.

should be able to pick up a whole seat from the wreckers cheap - but yeah never know what your getting. I have a pair here, but prolly cheaper to get them locally.

I did some looking into putting standard belts on a 2 door but here you need an engineers certificuit and some heavy modification to make the enginering nerds happy ;)

PS: please don't have a go at me for spelling :)

We never sold a second hand belt in ten years of wrecking, u can buy an aftermarket belt from Repco for most models these days

I'll check out repco but I'd be astonished of they do a replacement for an 81" RRC, you never know though.

I would like to buy new but I don't think they are made any more, maybe they are aftermarket but I've never seen them.
Really the state of the one that fitted now anything would be better.

They do generic belts where the actual retract mechanism is universal its just the mounting kit and female part of the catch which will need to be dedicated, the RR is fairly common so u stand a good chance of getting a kit.

There's a guy in Welshpool called Seatbelt solutions.

He can either replace the whole mechanism or supply & fit new webbing for your existing one.

Worth a call perhaps
