Sounds like a great idea but WA's a bit too far for me to travel unfortunately!:(

Recovery gear includes Diagnostic Laptop and Soldering Irons:D:D:D:D
Will be interesting to see how many D3 owners are brave enough to get em as dirty as You two;).
you should include RR sport owners aswell.
Hope you take pics..

I didn't spend all that money (although I didn't, just leased it :D) to swan around town looking like a ponce:p

Seriously though, how many D3 drivers (or for that matter, any type drivers) would be on this forum if they didn't go off road?

Totally agree with your sentiments. Mine will go everywhere the TDi went (and much further I hope). Still waiting on a few accessories to be fitted first.

Lots, but it only takes the encouragement of the likes of RichardK to get them off roading.

Sounds great!

Unfortunately mine doesn't get built until December - seems they are a bit popular at the moment!

Giddyup.................if I was over in WA :D, and Dawg I think you will find the majority of D3 owners on this site at least get their D3's dusty or others...like myself get comments like this from another D3 owner on the weekend " Geez you obviously take yours offroad, look at all those scratches"

If it's somewhere I can go with road tyres, count me in. (Or rather, count the wife in, as it's her car!)

Can't see it mentioned in the thread - where are you planning to go?

it's a shame i am not in wa, as i would like to tag along to see you guys in action.
it has already been proved to me how well a d3 can go, stevo68 can push his d3 well past the limits of a slightly modified d1, and white d3 is also a master of the d3.
you d3 drivers are lucky to have the most capable vehicle on the market.
