Ok, time to air some dirty laundry.
I and another member have been issed an infraction for bad behavour.
Lets sort this Crap out.
1st...
One person who starts these arguments drop smug little comments and refer to some of us as a group or pack.
Another one claims we are all children and we need to grow up. But he also has issues that have come to light that i will not at this time mention. but i consider those far more damaging than a suttle comment.
Many people so far have been warned and they continue to have a dig or a go at others.
Then i sort my crap out with one of them and he says all is well. Then he starts again and makes demeaning comments with tongue in cheek.
So i retailiate and cop an infraction.
What is with that????
So if you are in the street or at work and someone has a dig, and does it repeatingly, do you just ignore it.
No you stand up for yourself and say your peice.
This is a country of Freedom of speech and its also a peicefull county, then why do i have to put up with clowns with multiple personalities that run to mummy when they are under fire for there actions.
I want a stop to all this crap. I want the original offenders to come out and own up to there petty childish behavour and then we can all move forward.
I'm a stirer, yes. I have little smart comments about things like Hummers climbing rocky track and the amount of webwheelers on this forum. But i never start a personal attack. i retailiate.
So tell me moderators.... What is going on and why am i being punished for the ones who start this crap.
Thank god your nerds and not in the Justice Dept.... we would all be in jail because the guy who punched us ran to mummy.
Ban me or dont ban me... I'm speaking up as i'm sick of the slang matches that start and then when i'm involved i retaliate and get in the poo for it.
Someone who has control of this forum needs to look a little deeper into the problem and not just go on the word of those crying wolf.
If this is my last post, then thanks guys for a great forum... its been fun....

i took the action, me alone, no other mods or admins involved.
i have had enough of it and i have warned some of the people involved many times and constantly asked that people not provoke people or retaliate if provoked.
it affects more than 2 people, at least 4 i believe.
anyone that carried on with the tyre lever and cans in socks crap got some points.
i dont mind anyone having abit of fun but this has progressed past fun once already.
unfortunetly some people seem to take no notice of my numerous requests to neither provoke nor be provoked in to this sort of slanging match.
i will say it once again
PLEASE DO NOT PROVOKE NOR RETALIATE IF PROVOKED.
if you feel you have an issue with a post or poster use the report post function to bring it to the mods and admins attention.

The best way is to just ignore them and any posts they create. It is just not worth it! Every forum as an idiot or two. If enough people do the same, the clowns will either lift their game or leave.

I really hope this can be sorted out, whatever it is.
From what I see the General Chat section of this forum is the type of stuff we would talk about around a campfire.
General Chat Almost anything goes, have a look and drop in a few lines. Think of it as a campfire chat
I have been guilty of retaliating to comments put on this forum that I personally dislike. Remember the member who referrer to people with little technical knowledge as 'knobjockies'? That was certainly an insult as far as I am concerned.
Anyway, if I don't stop now I will have this post moved to the Rants and Raves section.
Yarns, Tales, and Rants Share your stories. Share moments that need to live on. Steamed up about something?....let it all out here.

...This is a country of Freedom of speech ...It's never nice when this sort of thing happens and I was unaware of the demerit system. However I guess it is a road related area so why not have a demerit system.
Onto the reason for the post - "This is a country of freedom of speech" well unless things have changed with the constitution that is not completely correct. Unless I am wrong and the Law relating to "Free speech" have changed, then it was only ever "permitted" within strictly controlled times and place. I can remember heading off with my parents to Sydney's Domain on a Sunday afternoon to listen to various speakers proffering their own particular slant on the world. Similar comments made in an alternative fora would have landed many in prison.
We have no "bill of rights" codifying the right to free speech.
Recent anti-terrorism laws have reminded us about this lack of the right to free speech, particularly as it relates to sedition. So I guess this carries on to this forum - if we want to play in the AULRO's sand pit then we play by their rules and accept the umpires decisions - or we take our spade and bucket and find another sand pit to play in.
Just my thoughts.

Further to everyone elses comments, Being a PUBLIC area, the majority don't want to see /be exposed to petty and childish unpleasantness etc, so If any member has an ISSUE to go on about and just HAS to say something to another, then do it via the PM system. Where no one has to view it.
I'm not singling out here, as I have no idea what the recent stuff was all about, but I just thought now was as good a time as any to mention this.
Be nice and have a group hug now and then.:D

I thought I'd left the personal attacks behind when I left the Overlander amd A4WDM fora.
A number of other fora also have the problem. I prefer to not go there.

Mate if you have them like me :( you will find them listed in your use CP Profle. Tells you what you got them for, how many and when they will expire.
TO Clarkie:
You cant go Clarkie, If been there and done that and it just doesn't happen.
Yes there are some ??? let just say people that do post negative derogatory comments directed at people and when you give it back to them they go and cry to Mod then BANG, you cop the points.
So I feel it is best just to cry first and get in before them and dont post a reply to there crap and just inform a MOD and make them do some work.
Then hopefully the point will go to the whoms that have been dogging them so far and deserve it.
Things wont go to far if stopped earlier.

This is a country of Freedom of speech
Not passing judgement on this scenario at all due to not really knowing the ins & outs of it, but this forum is not a place of free speech. You may feel that you are entitled to free speech, but the owners of this board are free to host, or to not host what they choose - and so that will make this place, or any other place such as this and environment where freedom of speech is not the case.
