G'day all , I just wanted to thank everyone that answered all the questions I had about the issues I had with my 01 td5. I have found a great workshop in adelaide town and if anyone wants to know who just reply to this, as it turn out I finally had a RS water pump and powersteering pump, but now all fixed and going well, so my wife tells me anyway. I have been having fun with my new FPV GT-P and if anyone needed a wrap for a very nice v8 with an awesome 6speed auto box these things are just seemless.

I had a BA GT and it was a pleasure, rode and handled great and went like the clappers, I really miss it, Regards Frank.

That's why I sold it, I became paranoid about some clown scratching it, or getting stone chips, even stopped taking it out in the rain, was getting to the point I wasn't driving it anymore, Regards Frank.

Glad it's all fixed. So who did you get to do the work in the end?
Be careful in that V8! It's getting harder and harder to own a stupidly quick car these days. I had a couple but there is nowhere where you can (legally) let them rip, and going out to Mallala (racetrack north of Adelaide) to play takes up a whole day. Sometimes I wish I had a non-diesel vehicle to go for a blat though :(

Got Soverieng Auto in Adelaide to do the work and I can Highly reccomend them, they listen and are so clean and thourough thats where I will always take my landrovers :clap2: On the GT I am taking it around Mallala with John Bowe, you get the opportunity to have a day learning about performance driving,,, Should be great :burnrubber:

That's good. I like Sovereign too. They have always been very honest and you can't ask for more than that.
Take care out at Mallala. Turn 2 can be tricky and if you stuff it up there is a very solid concrete wall to greet you. Other than that you do an off at any other corner with out damaging anything except your pride. Take out an extra can of fuel. Your economy will be something like 30 or 40 Litres per 100. I'd only get 80 or 90 Kms out of a full tank in both my old 911 and my WRX STi.

I did my FPV driver training course (John Bowe) at Oran Park in my GT, best time (barring Sex) that I ever had in a car, you will not believe how good they (GT) go when you don't have to hold back, you will reach Your limitations before the GT reaches it's, enjoy, Regards Frank.
