Didn't expect to do it, but just done it, so quick report.
Pulls very well I should say. From first impression nearly like chipped TD5, probably 90%. On 6-th gear does 2200 revs at 120km/h. Strange feeling about the engine/transmission while changing gears up, probably more vibration goes back to body, or engine works hard to get speed up.
Didn't like aircon noise, might be because just jumped from Commodore. Air flow improved, the brochure says the truth. More space for legs, should be OK to drive in rubber boots :)
The floor step under rear seats shorter back, what makes more space for rear passengers legs too. Rear seats lower, compare to TD5, better for adults, not for kids who like watching driving action, IMHO. No carpets like in top UK models, all rubber. Same in load area.
Rear suspension with anti-roll bar (110 model). Springs hard too.
The clutch drum about 1" lower chassis rails. Can't tell for sure why, might be a drum size increased compare to TD5 or lower the center. If it just lower, shouldn't be problems with lifting more than 2", IMHO. Disadvantage - have to be carefull driving over logs, no way simply slide on chassis rails.
Looks good. Some mods still required :)
Cheers,
Ruslan

On air strip
Hmm, airstrip, from memory could be classed as road related area under the National road rules,
or in the old days ,'open to ,or being able to , be used by the public on payment of fare or otherwise.
So there I didn;t think that was a legal speed, you are being bad.
and yea need photos

Because my job i drive a lot kms every month, and I can tell you there are some drivers increasing their speed when you start overtaking. And not everytime safe to drop speed and go back, overtaking with breaking speed limit only way to go. P-plated most of the time.
Who knows, bad I was or not. I did a test drive and confident that that car goes quick if i need it. 120km/h at 2200 rpm just a figure you can base and get and idea about fuel consumption and noise level inside.
That Grey 2007 Defender 110 I test drove are presented on Mount Gambier show from today till Sunday. I'll go and take some photos :)

Probably due to the angle that the engine & transmission are at...

Yep can verify that ...... main highways in NT are signed at 130kph limit ...still no signs on back roads so presume they are still unlimited ....not sure on that.
I saw a few posters and petitions ....the locals seem to be trying to get the limits removed again.
Oops ...keeping the thread off subject sorry ........

Stuart, Barkly and Victoria Highways have 130 kph speed limits. Other roads are 100 kph or 110 kph as posted. There are no longer any roads in the NT that are open speed limited.

...and the Central Arnhem Highway is actually only 80kph now!
