"For a safe and simple way to increase your vehicle’s
travelling range, new Long Ranger fuel tanks
are available for a number of vehicles including
Land Rover Discovery 3.
For the Discovery, an auxiliary tank will provide an additional 115 litres of fuel, enabling these vehicles to travel greater distances between refuelling.
Specifically designed for 4WD vehicles to ensure
optimum functionality without compromising important
vehicle departure angles, Long Ranger fuel tanks utilise
2mm aluminium coated steel construction for maximum
strength and durability. Australian made with a three
year warranty, the complete range of Long Ranger fuel
tanks is available from ARB stores around the country."
Discovery: > Part no: TA62 > Price: $1459

Yeah! I put the Long Range tank(the one where you pump the fuel into the standard tank) and in my TdV6 if I don't go over 110kph I get 10ltr/100km so that means 1960km on one fill. Proved that recently when I drove from Adelaide to Sydney and still had a half full standard tank.:D

They quote usable litres @ 104lts, quite often other companies quote capacit which may not be usable !Its worth Checking if your paying the extra money for litres that may not be there !

They are $1120.00

I've got the Longrangeautomotive 110 litre tank. It only takes 104l from dry, but 6l is neither here nor there.

Especially since the last time I filled the original tank when the range was on 0, I got 88 litres into the 82 litre tank!

Yes my point exactly, Its not a few litres here nor there, its the fact of the misleading information to create sales (and charge over $300 more) over a tank builder that gives you an honest usable amount the tank can hold !

mine a couple of times and thats to the first click of the pump. I'm guessing they hold about 90L
