Hi D3 owners. I realise this isn't the For Sale area but this is D3 specific and I must admit I never look at For Sales so hopefully it is okay to put here.
I am selling a rear storage unit that I built 2.5 years ago for the D3. The frame is 25mm Aluminium tube (Qubelok) locked together with plastic joiners. The surfaces are ply sheeting screwed and riveted then carpeted. The unit is fixed to the 4 tie down points in the rear cargo area of the D3 using 2 ratchet straps and 4 angle brackets (that need replacing btw) screwed down by the tiedown points. The complete unit weighs around 40kg and has plenty of stainless tiedown loops.

The drawer configuration with storage shelf (above 50lt Waeco fridge) for folding table

The complete set up including a top box for storage of stove and food containers

This is a Tirfor TU516 (1600kg) in the lower drawer to give you an idea about drawer depth

Please note that the Waeco fridge slide is no longer fitted. It is the one that suits the 50lt+ Weaco's. The Drawers don't have roller slides but use angle aluminium to slide which work okay with some dry lube applied. The access via the middle row seats allowed me to store a 10lt water jerry, Weaco 36 AH deep cycle, Coleman water heater and 2*5lt water containers.
I have removed the 3rd row seats to make access to the spare wheel simple by the removal of the lower drawer.
I was thinking about sellng it for $350 to help me fund a Drivesafe dual battey setup.
If anyone is interested send me a PM. I'm in Melbourne.
