This one nearly swam. It's probably Iraq.
No damage to the vehicle :)

Well there is no question our guys are fearless.
There is no way I would stand where they both are:o

That's serious recovery. I wonder how the snatch strap would have gone???
As DEEJAY said though, very "brave" standing there during a recovery.

Not how I would have run the task!!!
Blokes standing in the bight of the rope.
Check out the chain and snatch block dragging through that sandy crap,
I can't tell if the Boggo in the Burrito 2 pic is standing over a live rope or not as I can't make out if it has passed through the block.
As an Instructor that job would constitute a FAIL on a 226 course

having seen the rest of the pics.....(I shoulda waited for them all to load weve only got pic 1 at work)
1+2 are with whinches turing
3 is not live, you can see the guys with their feet on the snatch blocks (cant work out why unless they were providing just enough resistance to allow for respooling of the winches in prep for the next set of pulls) and the lead lines to the pullies are disconnected.
ID guess that the 2 ropes that look live are going to static anchor points... I wouldnt want to be working near them but well sometimes circumstance dont let us do what we want when we want to.
with 20/20 hindsite (and not knowing what anchorages they had to use) Id have done a similar thing but used the snatch blocks to pull it up closer to the edge then pulled forwards or backwards at an angle using a tow vehicle to "climb" the victim on its wheels up over the edge.

Would have been interesting upside down in the water.
With all the anti RPG mesh - look a bit like a mobile crab pot...
