Names for my ones

After much deliberation I have decided the little fellas need names but you guys have got all the good ones but I came up with these
My 57 is called The Blue Streak coz its blue now and will be blue again and its got a holden donk.:):clap2:

My 51 is Called Rossco after my grandad:eek:

my 53 is called Harold after my great uncle killed at Gallipoli.:p:bangin:

Probably a million landys called Harold or harry.

Names should be personal, like how you name your kids. After an uncle is great.

My vehicles are named after the places they came from or worked most of their lives. Hence Bemboka and Cardwell, Gunna is a sort of a joke, he first resided at Gunning (then moved to Dalton with the same family) but I'm "gunna" get around to fixing him up. Tooby, similarly is a Series 2B but I don't know whether he is "to be" restored.

"Vague" is a Range Rover HiLine (there was no Vogue model in 1985) but Vague looks very similar to Vogue and is emblazoned on the tailgate in the Vogue position. You have no idea how many people don't read and assume it says vogue.

I used to have 2 109" series 2a's, my project vehicle was a yellow colour and I called it "Kay" because "Kay hurts my budget" (Kay-Hertz was a car rental company at the time) the other 109" was called Avis - you guessed it because "Avis is my other car". My recently acquired S2B in Army drab in colour and has a 4 cylinder air compressor under the trayback. (Compressed air = pneumatic tools) hence Captain Pneumo, an illiteration on Captain Nemo of Jules Verne book 40 thousand leagues under the sea. (I was also thinking of calling him Finding Pneumo after the animated movie.

In the end it doesn't matter what you call them, it just personalises the vehicle a bit.

Or Larry:angel: Our cars "talk" to my wife. We have/had Ted, Wallace, Larry, Harold, Mikey & Nicholas. (yes we have noticed there all male)
