You are forgetting that the reborn Land Rover Mark is now entirely aimed at the poser class, not the real users. You probablly got all you deserved daring to wave at the new Defender upper class driver.

Spudboy,
Have you got yours yet?? Turn to page 457 of the user manual where it states
"Owning the new upmarket LR product compels you to have a certain level of arrogance. Waving to lesser 110 and 130 TD5, Tdi, Isuzu and V8 powerd vehicles and D1 and D2 Discovery's as well as RRC vehicles not to mention any series vehicle (which should go without saying) is a breach of the sales contract. Failure to adhere to this anti-waving policy will result in voiding of warranty conditions, acknoledgment of ownership or existence by LRA (which we do anyway) and one of our reps coming around to give you a good smack on the botty. The New Defender product should only be seen in good condition, washed and polished on the Cappuchinno strips or in Spud Boys case on the streets of Unley"

Yeah, all good Jamo. Do not know what the problem was. Axles all OK, diffs appear to be ok without completely removing, Teeth appear to be ok on crown wheel. No missing / movement when rotating wheels as usually indicated with missing teeth. Drives as normal, 4x4 low range and high range all OK.
