Just recently, past week in fact, I've sold my TDi Discovery, and yesterday, My wife sold her Flandie.
We both got the exact advertised price, no haggle, no questions, nothing..i thought the Disco would go close to asking as it was a good car, the Flandie, while also being a good car, i thought would be a nightmare to move at the price ( $15k ), but we actually had three people look at it within an hour yesterday, and it's being picked up tonight!, she's lost $500 on it in the time we had it.
Both cars we advertised for less than a week...
Too cheap it seems???
weirdly, in the 32 cars i've had in my life ( serial car buyer, ), the only one i made money on was a 1981 two door Rangie in brilliant condition, guy pulled up at the lights, asked if i'd sell it for 12k cash, i only had it for 6 months after paying 9k for it ( this was NZ$ 10 years ago )..who says Landies are hard to move??
