Just recently, past week in fact, I've sold my TDi Discovery, and yesterday, My wife sold her Flandie.

We both got the exact advertised price, no haggle, no questions, nothing..i thought the Disco would go close to asking as it was a good car, the Flandie, while also being a good car, i thought would be a nightmare to move at the price ( $15k ), but we actually had three people look at it within an hour yesterday, and it's being picked up tonight!, she's lost $500 on it in the time we had it.
Both cars we advertised for less than a week...

Too cheap it seems???

weirdly, in the 32 cars i've had in my life ( serial car buyer, ), the only one i made money on was a 1981 two door Rangie in brilliant condition, guy pulled up at the lights, asked if i'd sell it for 12k cash, i only had it for 6 months after paying 9k for it ( this was NZ$ 10 years ago )..who says Landies are hard to move??

Congratulations!

They're hard to move up here in Darwin. I'm dreading trying to move on my '97 Disco V8... Even the local LR dealer said he wouldn't take it!

That's the most unheard of thing I've ever heard of:D:D:D

Well done!

What will replace the Landies?

I picked up a 02 V8 D2 a couple of weeks back, off CAL415, and my wife bought a brand spankers Ford Focus yesterday, which is actually quite cool..

Was very chuffed and the Flandie price, it's a pity she did'nt like it, they are pretty under rated, the Disco's now crusing the streets of Canberra.

We woudn't take it either, unless it was very very cheap.

Nice piece of gear, the Focus, almost landed one here, but the new i30 Hyundai diesel is the current 'desired'.

rayngie, sell my 93 V8 for me, please...

...there's an 02 D2SE7 V8 nearby, which is 'as new' and I want it:D:D:D
