Disco 1/2 CDL

Can the diff lock actuator cable/transfer selector from a disco 1 be fitted to a CDL compatable disco 2? ATM I only have a home made job but it transfers too much vibration...

Yes, and you can probably find info on this with a search here. There used to be a write up on www.discoweb.org (http://www.discoweb.org) tech section as well. As it is a lever linkage there is apparently noise transmission into the cabin compared to the later cable option.
