If you've built a big camp fire you wouldn't be just stopping off for a quick cuppa at a rest spot though.

Do you need an excuse to light a big fire?

I just had a play with mine (kettle);) and had 1.5 litres boiling in 4 minutes with newspaper as the only fuel, probably 5-6 sheets, seems pretty quick to me.

I would like to win a Kelly kettle through aulro because:

1. I can't afford 62 euro to buy one
2. I need something which will operate anywhere with any available fuel, as I'm planning a long trip thru Vietnam and Cambodia and it could be perfect for my backpack
3. My camper with gas stove is stored about 6000 km from where I'm currently sitting, which is a long way to go just to boil the kettle

I can't find any icon on your post so I can PM you (please advise if I'm suffering from domestic blindness - probably), so is this way of submitting OK?
