G'day Ladies and Gents,

Im new to this forum, and thought you may like to have a look at my two new(ish) landies.
One looks like it was ex wonga park rural fire brigade and is a 54 107", and the other (the one having severe traction difficulties) is a 55 107"
Both vehicles are reasonably complete. and the 54 runs pretty well (Just checked the irrigation in it for a bit of a laugh)

Cheers

Lots of fun times restoring ahead.

Did you get the special tool for the F/W Hubs? - Haven't seen one of those for about 32 years.

Do they have the original engines?

Yeagh they were a pretty good buy actually, the 54 was registered and was still a working vehicle in oct 2003 (not quite sure how though?), the old chap i bought it off, his kids made him buy a new rodeo for charging into town with.
Both have there original engines/boxes in them, and the 54 even has the little tool to lock the hubs with

No, but my next door neighbour has recently started doing it - judging by his results, I would get a lot of practice before trying it on a Series 1!

Contemplating it at present. A friend out Campbelltown way has made some very poor 80" guards quite presentable using one of the el cheapo MIGs which has prompted me to try (on some scrap first). Big problem is that I'm only fair with a stick welder in the first place.

Let us know how you go!

The problem will be the material being so old
