gen III on gas?

Just wondering if anyone has put a gen 3 motor on gas and how successful it has been.
would imagine the plastic manifold may not like a backfire

I thought backfires were extinct with sequential gas injection.??

Correct, manifolds don't like gas at all, you need to replace them with an aftermarket$$$$
