Loctite Freeze release

I was in the local bearing place today and came across a new Loctite product called Freeze and release. Supposedly you spray it on the seized bolt or nut it super cools it to -40degrees and this sudden freeze and warming up along with the "special" lubricants loosens it. I think it would be great to try on manifold bolts or other engine bolts that seem to bake tight. Has nayone had any experience with this?

yep, got it, umm well had it at work... 4 cans of it for a trial that almost made it to the end of the day......

Good stuff, I dont think its as good as the gas axe BUT if your in a "I really dont want to be waving MR gas axe on the fuel tank bolts" kinda situation its the ducks danglies.

Just make sure you clean the mud off first, wet clay gets very very stubborn to knock off at - bloody lots.

Not very safe but I have used butane cartridges to do the same thing with good effect (the ones used for refilling gas soldering iron etc)

Obviously safety FIRST! (although not sure it would really ever be safe......)
