Folks, last time I put my wifes Disco 2 in for service they lost the tool kit, now I have to remember what is in it so they can replace it - you would think they would know!

From my aged memory:
wheel brace
jack handle
security wheel nut tool
security wheel nut cap removal tool
2 x wheel chocks

Anything else?

Thanks

Yes,

the actual tyre wrench - the 90 degree bent one with the socket on the end.

I would think they would just order a replacement kit from Land Rover:angel:

Baz.

You would think so - but they are Land Rover (in Melbourne anyway) - maybe they figure that people don't lose the kit they lose one bit of it?

Funny about that...

Mind you, it's swings and roundabouts, I've ended up with many tools left in various cars by repairers, generally screwdrivers and hammers:eek::eek:

...and a half consumed can of beer, must've been an arvo jobbie...:D:D:D

I had a mobile phone left behind once, and another time grease all over my seat.

A mate of mine caught the service department using his car to run errands around town.

Just another reason to drive a Series Land rover. No chance it will be driven unnecessarily!

Well it turns out that when pressed, they found the toolkit! You mean they've pinched one out of another car to replace yours & hope the other owner isn't as observant as you :(.
