ABS extension on D2

My darling wife has misplaced my work shop manual for my D2 I have a question regarding the ABS wires that sit behind the disc shroud I bought some extensions from expedition exchange and was wondering am I to remove the whole cable or just extend it male female plug I can cheat and just add it on or is best pull the old out and placing the new

I'm not sure but I guess that these are just an extension cable to be inserted where the wheel sensor cable has it's first plug/socket along it's way back to the engine bay.

Does anyone know if these cables from Expedition Exchange will fit the D1 ABS system?
