ACE pump shaft end-float

Is just over 0.5mm end-float within spec or is this a problem? I 've not noticed the pulley moving whilst idling before but can't guarantee that its new.

Just checked mine and it has no end float,they are a piston type pump

I'd be very surprised if its OK. I don't know what the bearing setup is, but even the movement of the belt is a bit worrying.
