Oil Pressure Sender Unit Size ?

I'm not sure why this is so difficult but can anyone tell me what size the thread is on a 96 V8 3.9 Discovery for the oil pressure switch.

I want to replace it with a gauge and put in a Oil pressure and Oil temp gauge but I'm having trouble finding out exactly what size the sender unit needs to be.

I want to keep the existing oil warning light in the dash and run an electrical gauge, so some kind of T piece will be needed.

I've phoned up the VDO and Speco "experts" but they don't know anything about landrovers...
