Does that mean there is a potential market for having one there? On a part time basis?

Definitely. As already mentioned there's Roverparts and also (for aftermarket stuff) Troutbeck too. Both are in Ballarat region and I don't know of anyone, anywhere else west of Melbourne. I'd call either one and ask as I'm sure they'd welcome more Rover help out that way.

You can stay in the granny flat at our place Bigjohn .between Horsham and Hamilton.

Is/was there a dealership at Mt Gambier/Millicent? And where did the people from Perth (?) Motors in Hamilton go after the closure of the LR dealership there a while back?

Certainly nothing on the Western Highway between Ballarat and Adelaide.

The reason for the comment is that Delilah's former owners bought the car in Hamilton, lived in Dunkeld and found that the nearest dealer service was GEELONG!

I'd have thought that the LR people may have stayed in the area. Perhaps amshaw can shed some light.

Considering Victoria, Jon? If so, welcome.

Other half has accepted a job there, so I guess that means I will be heading that way too...

Homecoming??

Victoria has never been my home and never will be:mad:. I am a South Australian:p! I am happy to claim the NT as home, but Victoria could only ever be somewhere to live for a while, not somewhere to call home. I only agreed to it because it is pretty close to the SA border :p.

I am always interested in beers though :twisted:.

Sometime early next year.

:) Play nicely, kids. FYI, there are plenty of LR in the Western District, probably in need of some TLC. Again, amshaw's the man - he's right in the middle of it!
