Have to agree, i work on commercial doors and spend alot of time working in shopping centre suspended ceilings and up against tin roofs in commercial/industrial factory's.
Do enjoy the weekends more though, the sun definately cheers you up!!

Send some of the thunder & rain over our way - it's stinking outside here. Have spent the afternoon dragging poly pipelines up on top of a Heap Leach pad & getting sprayed with salt water & cyanide - bugger it - time for a beer or three.

On a 35deg day in the afternoon I have measured the west wall of my workshop at 62deg C.
Makes it mid 40s working at the bench and if Im at that bench im in overalls, leather welding jacket, gloves and helmet.
I avoid welding on days like that but sometimes I cant get out of it.
I feel for you mate, good luck with it.

Today I had to move my series III from the carport so a tradie can deliver stuff for the house. So a neighbour and myself had a play on the empty lot across the road, safari style with the roof and windscreen off. Lots of fun but a bit of sunburn.

Hey mate,
Made yesterday seem like a easy day sitting behind the wheel of your D1 negotiating those hill's !!
It was warm today spent a a hour on the roof of our workshop getting the A/C fixed (as I was sick of waiting for the A/C bloke after calling for 3 months) New pump and we were all getting cool again !:D
Made me feel at home again (south West NSW)
