I'm interested to hear how they go and how well they wear. i've heard a few positive comments about them. what size?

235/85/16 they only cost $205/tyre

mate of mine has just put them on his Hilux:angel:
so far he reckons they aint bad at all (15,000k's):D

he paid around the $180 mark..........
from a rural tyre outlet near Cobram in Vic

tyres always seem cheaper in Easter states, my new rubber cost about $170ea and are only about $100 in NSW !

I watch the 4WD monthly dvd's and sometimes think I wish I was in the blue mountains:(

I have that size on my D2,they are pretty tall.

The Mountains and it's surrounds are good, (being a resident here) ,but I do like to have a look at the Outback, and Central Australia, soooo much on offer there. The real heart of Australia. I subscribe to the RM Williams mag 'Outback', and just can't wait to get out there, and see whats what.:)

my old man works for goodyear in melb so i get tyres at cost price only down side is the have to be goodyear tyres which means wrangler tryes for 4x4's they do nt look bad though i'm eyeing off a set of 31's atam

Them MTRs are pretty good,thats what I have on the D2,235/85x16
The trailer Im building even has a pair!!!!

Just the rear does rub but I changed that this morning with a angle grinder:eek:

Here are the pics of the tyres, the first 2 show where I have cut the guard to make room for the tyres and stop them rubbing

I will make some side panels to neatin up where I have cut.

Next week hopefully the snorkel and suspension will be fitted plus centre gauge panel
