For the weather nuts, there's a new book coming out on the history of weather forecasting in Australia to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bureau of Meteorology which is in January.

Just been told that all Bureau employees will be given one for free. :cool:

Hmm, nice Christmas prezzie for my Dad who was with the Bureau from about '46-'77.

Just received my copy, it's a very nice book.
James they did say that retired Bureau employees would be sent a copy, I don't know if that means recent or everyone so it might be worth looking into.

Hi Steve,
life is still good here at sunny Pearce - Admin staff are putting on bacon & eggs for brekky and 209 course are supplying beers for lunch. :D
