not cheap, but very good (had one for nearly 5 years, on it's third set of tyres due to the excessive toe in from factory!!)

they were (and are) made by mountain buggy - you can still buy the same device (without landy logos) - look for the terrain model...

if you MUST have the land rover logo on it, then you are out of luck...

Ahem... [Cough]

Point of order!

I think you'll find that the Land Rover pushchair (stroller) was actually made by a company called Pegasus. On top of that, to purchase one new, it would set you back approx Au$1000.

I sold our one, last month, for approx Au$300.

G'day Studio54 :)

It maybe worth while to contact Incisor as he and Mrs Incisor have a very neat Stroller/pram for their Grandson, and it is branded "Discovery":) I am sure they will give you the info where to get one;)

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. $1000 for about $5 of tube, $20 of canvas, three plastic wheels, and a few cheap bits and pieces. Phineas T. Barnum was right.

Anyone on the forum got a small manufacturing business? Here is a golden opportunity.

Mark, ok Pegasus made them pre 2002... but I have reason to believe that mountain buggy is the company that rose from the ashes so to speak and started fabrication of the terrain model in NZ, about that time....
that original model is still sold and yeah it still costs around A$1000... BUT if you get a factory second (ours had a 2 inch tear in the sewing of the underseat basket) you can get em cheap as a cruddy made in China 3 wheeler. Ours cost A$420 inclusive of rain cover, sun cover etc etc... been everywhere through SEAsia and Oz through more than 10 sets of airline baggage handlers, onto the third set of tyres and still going strong with barely any visiable wear and tear. Still has a value of about $300 as you say on ebay even when well used.

no land rover logo, but it is the defender of the pram/stroller/pushchair world

Currently on its 2nd passenger.

A vasectomy is cheaper. Could even make a profit by raffling the right to perform the surgery amongst the members, and selling admission tickets, and reserving the catering rights.
