Hi All,
I got another thread going about my fourth fuel pump in 12 months ****ing itself but I am wondering whether since the pump just works as a primer and that once the engine is running, the pump turns off, is there a way that I could get the Disco started so that I can get to a servo' and fill up on my lpg?
Then I could worry about this pump at a later time.
Cheers,

I'm guessing its a V8?
nope, no pump,
no go.
the pump runs all the time to
pressurise the fuel system.
after 4 pumps,
I would be changing mechanics,,

Thought you might say that. Yeah, it's the V8. Changing the pumps have been done by me but I think there is an electrical gremlin somewhere as changing the pumps out is the easy part.
The last two had melted wires in the carriage, don't know yet about this one.

have you asked that question in Tech?
about the melted wires??
I would be asking for a step by step run through,,,
and then we can post it in tutorials,,

I've brought it up before in my previous threads about these pumps but it didn't get anywhere.
The thing about the looms is that everything always seems to be connected, like currently only 2 of my five doors lock when I use the remote and when that started happening the interior light stopped working when the doors open except for one!

Well now the petrol fuel pump is working so I went and filled up my lpg straight away and clicked over to the gas but on the way back she went dead on lpg!
Now I'm back on the petrol!
I'll have to go and put in half a tank for the petrol anyway (great, Friday pricing of $1.39.9 p/l), and pick up a spare VN commodore fuel pump to have in the kit.
All this has got to be from that gremlin in the electrics somewhere!!
Bourbon time and it's only 8:40am!!
