G`day all, I am passing through Melbourne for a few days and want to pick up a UHF and aerial to bring back to Dubai with us. The frequencies we use out here are different to the Australian ones so I also need to get it reprogramed as well. They are illegal out here so I will probably get a more discrete model with a remote head like the GME TX3400 or TX3440. Most of our club members are bring in UHFs from Hong Kong, but I would rather an Australian spec one so we can use it without any problems when we return back home to Australia some time in the future.
Does anyone know of any decent retailers they can recommend who will be able to carry out the reprograming on the spot etc. Time is limited so I want to be able to go to a one stop shop preferably on the airport side of town.
Thanks

Thanks for that, I`ll check em out.
I`ll be staying in Ballarat, but have friends in Sunbury, so anywhere within access of those areas would be good.

There's also Telstat down in Seaford, but they are probably a bit out of your way.

You could give them call though and get a comparison quote and a bit of advice on what you are trying to do.
