Hi all,
I just have a quick question, does anyone know of any company that makes inline air filters? I'm about to fit an EFI manifold to my Landie and make up a snorkel out of 3" aluminium pipe.

I am thinking of fitting an air filter between the throttle body opening and the side of the engine bay which would then go through the side of the engine bay and to the snorkel. I have found heaps of these pod style air filters but nothing enclosed that has a 3" pipe in and a 3" pipe out with the filter inside. Does anyone have any leads for this sort of thing?? Or am I going to have to make something up myself from aluminium??

Cheers!

Well the standard barrel type for a 92 RRC or 3.5 Disco is that type but a little long.
If you are not using a MAF then it may fit. Jaguar XJ6 also had the same filter.
Th einput output are not 3 inch but that is easily done.
You could shorten it , but the challenge then will be to find a filter the correct length.

Thanks for all the replies guys! The Green Cotton canister filters look perfect! I wonder how much they will be... Gotta make some inquires about them I think. Also that modification looks promising, but possibly a little long...
