Mate check in my computer and click on the drive the CD is in and see if there is a file there.

before you discount the disc......try it on another computer........

if you can see all the files on it...then it must be working.......

Wonder if you have a dud CD???

Do you have another CD that you check to make certain the drive is OK?

Edit: Dang Zook, how'd you do that? Anyway, the CD could be a dud if there is an error in the exe or wherever it's trying to link to.

checked that, the disc spins up when it is first put in than it slows right down and sounds like its trying to spin up but it cannot

just put a movie disc in and it works so i'm guessing its not the player

I'd get a replacement CD then.

If you have another computer around you could just confirm it's the disk, but at least it doesn't appear to be the usual cause for such problems, the one between the screen and the keyboard ;)
