300TDI Vacuum Valve.

I've just picked up a little vacuum valve from a wrecked 300TDI disco. What was this valve originally for (no wires or hoses connected when I got there).

It was on the LHS inner guard near the battery tray. Has two wire connections (presum 0-12v) and 3 air barbs (vacuum, atmosphere and out).

Mabye somebody may know for sure but my guess is idle up solenoid for aircon. Seen this on jap cars often.

all I can tell you is there is no such valve on a 300Tdi 'fender :confused:

Sounds like an Idle valve for when the AC is on.....
