:D
does anyone have a prefered electronic ignition system for their series vehicles?

I got rid of the old carb - (some holden piece of *beep* on a stalk) and replaced it with a zenith - but she's a' guzzlin now.

So I decided to look at the carb and ignition issue in one.
Still looking for a better.. .or newer carb. suggestions appreciated! (polite ones).

On another note I read that only millitary series 2a's have the starter button on the firewall. any verifications on that? I thought they all did.

hello.

Go for the crane fire ball electronic with a MSD blaster or beta coil which can run at 13 or so volts i power mine from a 30amp relay using the original coil wire to switch the relay and it works great and the crane system is easy DIY fit up ......

For the carby put the holden stromburg back on tho rebuild it and fit an adjustable main jet also a set of good headders will improve things heaps as well :D:D:D:D

I've heard good things about the petronix kits as well.
