Hi All,
Having just bought my 2005 D3, I need to add some accessories.

At the top of my list is a Hayman-Reese style towbar hitch (& electrics).

Second is a cargo barrier.

Third is a bull bar (NOT a nudge bar). I'd probably prefer steel & a winch bar, but I wouldn't be fitting a winch at this stage. I suspect that fitting a steel bar will require upgrading the front springs. Any arguments of steel .vs. Al alloy would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks HSVRangie,
I must admit to having a "soft spot" for ARB bars. I've had one for years on my D1 and it has served me very well.

Mitchel Bros? I haven't heard of them. I guess that they are in VIC. I'll do a search.

Best Wishes,
Peter

Hi Michael,
I have looked at their website, which doesn't have a lot of info.

The UK forum was informative, however.

Have sent them an email, asking to be kept informed.

Thanks for your efforts,
Peter

ARB winch bar.

I take it you've bought a coil sprung model, so you can get King Springs with a 50mm lift or 65mm lift if your State laws allow. There's info on disco3 about that too.

You're quite right. I do have a coiler.

What's disco3?

Best Wishes,
Peter

It's dedicated to D3's and there is a thread or two there about coil lifts.

But I'm not sure if I'm meant to mention it here or not.
