Hi S1 Enthusiasts
Many of you may know that I wear a couple of hats and one of them is sort of in competition with this forum. However I just thought I would let you know about the Trans Tasman S1 Group.
For some years there has been a relatively active Series 1 group of the LROCV - The Series 1 Register of Victoria, this has quite a large and international group on its email list server. Hoping to emulate the LROCV success for the rest of Australia and in fact long before the S1 Enthusiasts section of the AULRO was started, we started a Series 1 group that rapidly spread across the Tasman to New Zealand, and even has its own website with information and suppliers specific to Series 1 Land Rovers Trans-Tasman Series 1 Group Website (http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/LRSeries1/).
After running the two groups in tandem for about 18 months the 2 groups merged and then started a forum site at almost the same time as AULRO started this one. Trans-Tasman Series 1 Forum (http://www.lrseries1online.no-ip.com/forum/index.php)
The point is, the Trans-Tasman Series 1 Forum is out there, although small (currently 52 members) every Series 1 Enthusiast is welcome. The format is similar but quite basic to AULRO, although the individual fora have been designed so people can browse a particular S1 area much more easily.
Come an have a look, browse and see if it is of any use to you.
Sorry we are leaf spring people, we don't know about "coilers" or anything with a "2" or a "3" or even Classic in its designation. :D
Regards
Diana
