In prep for a 2008 trip
Fabricated a winch bar and fitted. (9000lb warn to be fitted over chrissy)
Fabricated a snorkel and fitted with the normal mods to the air cleaner.
Fitted the dual battery moving and remounting what needed to move and remount. (still havnt hooked it into the charge system yet, need to get the bits)
Run 50 amp wires via a 30amp a auto reset fuse into the console to switchs, from there one set of 50 amp wires go under passager seat to the 600w invertor. Still need to run another set of 50 amp wires back to the rear cargo for the 55 litre fridge/freezer.
The wiring maybe on the heavy side but better there than be wanting for capicty.
Also fitted a rear wheel bearing set the other day but will replace over chrissy with quality sets to both rear
Must say thanks to other forum members for pics and ideas on relocating things for the dual battery and snorkel mods.
Will take some pics of my mods and post, may well help someone else
cheers

Bullbar I fabricated, what is seen is basicly just a cover over the structually winch mount and bar work underneath, 9000lb warn winch. Not happy with the ends of the bull bar yet, looks a bit odd where the ends are fitted on, going to shape it up a bit yet

sold the rangie some time back. What I did was removed the original bumber and fabricated a winch mount between the chassis rails and then welded some wings of that to support the light bumper. Then had the bumper bent up and cut and shaped to suit
