I couldn't find any photo's of Chockablock.
I did find some of a couple of the blokes and tractors my old boss John Clarke competed against though.
Pity I can't find "Black Velvet" she's fitted with a Pratt and Whitney Black Mamba jet engine. Can't she pull that sled.
Check out the "Euro" tractor pullers on Youtube.

Late 1990's, Lucindale pull. Black Velvet was hooked up for the first test pull.
In case folks don't know, the sled is geared. It has a small tail shaft still connects the diff and gearbox, this drives a winch, which pulls a weight forward along the trailer, adding more weight and friction to the front of the sled, making it harder to pull.
They chose the wrong gear. Black Velvet powered up pulled like the proverbial 14 year old boy, and didn't stop for almost half a kilometer.:D:D:twisted:
Took out lots of fences on the way.
