Toyota Fishing Classic 08

Gday all,

I recieved today in the mail the propaganda relating ot the 08 fishing competition on Fraser. My old man and I are looking at going, but would prefer to book one of hte houses within walking distance from the show centre.

Who wants to go? lol

24th May -> 30 May.

Boats welcome, 4wds very welcome. Huge Land Rover banners at a toyota sponsored show VERY welcome .... :P

the competition is basically a week long fishing competition on Fraser Island. There are a number of species in catch&weigh, and also some in catch&release. Also all the main prizes are random so if your at the presentations every night for a drink, your in the running.

$220 entry, $195 If you bring registrations papers showing you own a Toyota.

I would actually not mind going - i like fishing and also to look at all the fourby's and antics of the people, plus there will be lots of toyota's to recover :p.
Time for this trip is however another matter ..... :mad:

I have retirned to the world of the internet. Good to see davo, we were looking to get a house thing if we could get enough people, but if not camping sites are available near the presentations.
